Changing your mindset (Renewing your Mind) isn’t a one-time thing. You’re not going to work on your mindset for a while and be done, never having to worry about it again.

Life is constantly changing, and so are you. There is always going to be room for improvement to your mindset, your skills, and your life, no matter how satisfied you become.

This means that renewing your mind is a lifelong journey. The active and really difficult part will only last a short while. Once you get over that hump, it will become easier. At some point, you’ll reach a “maintenance level” where most of the things you do to maintain your mindset become automatic and unconscious.

You’ll still experience challenges, of course, and there will be times you’ll need to go back to the fundamentals. For instance, more concentrated meditation on God’s Word to get you through the difficulties you’re facing. New challenges are a given and a part of life, but they will pass.

When things do get tough, remind yourself that you’ve been in tough spots before. You overcame those issues, and, with God’s help, you’ll do so again. Each round of difficulties will be easier than the one before it because you’ve grown. Your mind is growing in faith and your experience is pushing you forward.

You’ll emerge from each difficult experience stronger and wiser than you were before. Your resiliency will increase at each step along the journey. At some point, you’ll get to the point where most things no longer bother you, much less present a challenge!

Cultivating your mindset is a lifelong journey, but so are the benefits. You’re going to permanently change for the better on this journey. Each step forward will take you closer to the person you were designed to be and the life you want to lead.

After a time, you’ll be surprised to look back and see how far you’ve come. You won’t even recognize the person you used to be. You might even wonder how you could have ever been that person. When you reach this point, be grateful for all that you’ve gained along the way.

God has blessed you.

You’re on the road to living the life you want, the best possible life for you. It’s not an easy road, but it’s worth the trip, As you move along your journey, you’ll wonder why you didn’t start sooner. You will see that your renewed mind – full of faith – has impacted your life in many ways.

Blessings as you continue your journey.
